Is AB & J (Almond Butter & Jelly) a thing? If not then it definitely should be!
In celebration of Earth Day (April 22nd), I have teamed up with One Degree Organics to create a plant-based recipe for you. These 7-ingredient oat bars are super easy to make , but also wholesome and healthy. They are definitely a go-to family friendly snack!
1 cup One Degree Organics Sprouted Oats
2/4 cup almond flour (or flour of choice)
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
Pinch of sea salt
1 jar raspberry preserves
2 tbsp almond butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine dry ingredients.
Add in coconut oil and honey. Mix well, and place 3/4 of mixture in square baking dish lined with parchment paper.
Make 8-10 minutes. Remove from oven and top with raspberry preserves.
Add 2 tbsp almond butter to remaining 1/4 mixture, and then spoon over raspberry preserves.
Return to oven and bake for additional 20 minutes. Let cool completely before cutting.
** Sometimes I sprinkle brown sugar on top before placing back in the oven (Because, why not?!)
